Hi, this is a quick video tutorial on how to join a Microsoft teams meeting for best presentation, quality we recommend using your home computer or your laptop. So the first thing you’ll want to do is go to your meeting invitation, email and click on the joint Microsoft teams meeting link. If you already have the team’s app installed, either the meeting will open automatically or select open Microsoft teams. If you do not have the teams app installed, it is not necessary to install it at this time. Simply click on, join on the web instead to open up in your browser.
Make certain your computer microphone and camera are turned on. Click on the camera and microphone symbols on the screen to turn them on and off accordingly, then simply enter your name in the black box and click on join now to join the meeting. If you plan on using the phone for audio instead of the computer for audio, there are a few extra steps that you’ll need to take first. Find the microphone symbol on the team’s control panel and click on it to turn it off. You’ll also want to make sure your computer speakers and volume are turned off using the sound settings on your device. Usually located at the top of the screen, or sometimes at the bottom of your screen, depending on your device settings, you’ll want to make sure that both your computer audio and the Microsoft teams audio are both turned off to prevent echoes and feedback. During the meeting, then find the phone, audio button below and click on it. This will display the dial-in instructions. Enter the phone number and when prompted enter the conference ID and pound sign, if you need to use your camera during the meeting, simply use the camera symbol on the screen to turn it on and off accordingly.
