What do you enjoy most about working at Modera?
By far, the best thing about working at Modera is the people. I’ve worked at many places in my career and know how rare it is to find colleagues you genuinely enjoy spending time with and who continually strive to work in the best interest of their clients. I feel very fortunate to work here.
When you’re not working you’re…?
Outside of work, I love reading, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
What’s the best career advice you ever got?
I’m currently reading Excellence Wins by Ritz-Carlton founder Horst Schulze, which explains how he and his team helped create the “Gold Standard” in client experience. But the best career advice I ever received comes from Amelia Earhart, who once said, “The most effective way to do something is to do it.” I’ve always admired her fearlessness and determination, particularly as a woman attempting to achieve something that hadn’t been done before.
How do you do good in your community?
When possible, I try to find service opportunities that advance women’s causes and professional careers. I’m currently involved with Savvy Ladies, a non-profit providing free financial education to women in need, and with the Dress for Success/Northern New Jersey Chapter. I also serve as a CFP® Board mentor for women aspiring to earn their CFP® credential.

Building a Financial Safety Net: Four Key Steps for Women
Growing up, I was fortunate to have had a financial role model in my mom, who taught me, from the time I was very young, how important it is for a woman to take control of her finances.
