What do you value most in your client relationships?
The trust that our clients place in us to look out for them and their interests.
What sparked your interest in financial planning? What fuels you every day in your work?
I knew that people needed good financial advice from a trustworthy source. I enjoy providing that advice and the personal relationships that result.
What’s a particularly rewarding example of how you helped to create impact for a client?
Going to visit a client in the ER a couple of hours after her husband’s heart attack and helping the family calm down. Then being asked by a nurse to come to the restricted area of the ICU – since the client was asking for me and his wife to come to the back and see him. The client took my hand and placed it with his wife’s…and said, “If I don’t survive open heart surgery you will take care of her, right?” That fuels me every day.
What’s the one thing people say you’re best at?
Caring and making it personal.
How do you do good in your community?
I serve heavily with my church to members and non-members alike. And going to charity gala balls with my wife.
